About

Ian’s passion for design and engineering began at an early age in school, crafting self-made puzzles, producing visual effects videos, and upgrading gearbox mechanisms. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, he realised his potential in combining his technical and creative abilities, and decided to pursue a Master’s degree where he honed his skills in both design and engineering.
Ian’s strengths lie in his strong cross-disciplinary approach to work, study and research. His experiences in organisations which operate at an international level, have shown his commitment to embracing an interpersonal mindset within multicultural environments. Previous employers have described him as pro-active, an eager and quick-learner, and a serious worker with the ability to work in a team.
His passions span into video production: cinematography, editing and visual effects. Ian was awarded the Jury’s Award for Best Film at the European Student Film Festival. He continues to film and edit videos, keeping abreast of the current trends in the media world.
