High Bypass Turbofan Engine

CARGOLUX

Cargolux is one of the largest airline cargo fleets in Europe.

Modelling the essential components of a turbofan engine was part of a personal project carried out during an internship at Cargolux.

The General Electric NX-2B engine of a 747-8 aircraft was designed from its spinner up to the nozzle by measuring ratios between relative components.

Two renders were created, one of the inner components from the spinner up to the first set of high-pressure compressor turbine blades, and one of the full engine.
